Rebekah McWhirter

Rebekah is a postdoctoral research fellow in cancer genetics with both Menzies School of Health Research (Darwin) and Menzies Research Institute Tasmania. Her work focuses on project management, statistical analysis and the ethical and legal issues associated with genetic research. Having worked on familial prostate cancer, haematological malignancies, and multiple sclerosis studies, she now divides her time between a genetic study of the vulvar cancer cluster in Arnhem Land, and investigating public attitudes towards biobanking with the Centre for Law and Genetics at the University of Tasmania.
