Lisa M Reynolds
Lisa Reynolds is a health psychologist who has worked clinically supporting cancer patients and their families in New Zealand for several years. She is currently completing her PhD at the Department of Psychological Medicine, University of Auckland. Her doctoral research investigates disgust-driven avoidance in colorectal contexts and will involve the development of a mindfulness-based intervention to improve psychological outcomes in colorectal cancer (CRC). This work melds her clinical experience and research interests by focusing on four key aspects directly relevant to psychological outcomes in CRC patients – disgust, avoidance, mindfulness and CRC health behaviours.
