Kath Skinner manages the Strategic Projects Unit within the Cancer Information and Support Services division at Cancer Council NSW. Kath has experience in managing health projects and in clinical risk management undertaking critical incident investigations. Within the cancer and palliative care setting Kath has experience in service development, clinical trials and clinical nursing, including over 14 years in the haematology blood stem cell transplant setting. Kath is passionate about advocating for patients and carers and has previously managed a wide range of cancer support services across NSW and the ACT within the not-for-profit sector. Kath is a Registered Nurse and has two masters degrees; one in Clinical Nursing and one in Clinical Data Management and Clinical Trials.
